Caring Dehumanization, submission, and Relief

Desire for submission is sometimes a search for relief from a static noise that we have mistaken for silence. A necessity for a break from the exhaustion of being a person, maintaining a face, a name, and the too many tiny obligations of life.
Caring Dehumanization is the mercy of being told you no longer have to be "someone."
When you are reduced to an object in my care -my piece of art for me to watch, use, or ignore- the relentless machinery of your mind can halt.
By stripping away the requirement to think or to respond, I am offering rest, disappearance of the self, and relief.
